Traversing your blog - interesting stuff. I don't think bush® ever did this, but the Clinton administration posed for Vanity Fair in a very similar fashion... so this is maybe part of a "Democratic" tradition.
I like it - it's at least more transparent, or gives the illusion of transparency. And isn't that the point... perception vs reality? The Bush® administration basically was like the Death star with the emperor and Darth running things. This at least seems, kinder, gent’ler... we'll see where it goes.
